VCalla Productions has made a global impact, reaching tens of thousands of viewers from across the world, and welcoming guests from other countries as well, including the United States and India.

Currently, Vincenzo is producing three signature VCalla Productions programs, which include The VCalla Show, the flagship show that brings together interviews, the latest headlines, and interesting research, The Political Job Interview, during election campaigns, and Building Barrhaven: The history behind one of Canada’s fastest growing communities. Among various retired VCalla Productions programs are the sister shows Let’s Discuss Politics and Top Ten, comprised of sixty episodes that brought forward political discussion as well as the real stories of politicians from all levels of government from across Canada.

Vincenzo Calla created VCalla Productions in 2021 when he was 17 years old, just prior to the 2021 Federal Election. As a young person who had always been interested in politics and history, he created VCalla Productions as a way to express his interest for these topics, while also being able to be creative and help engage and teach other young people about these topics.

Vincenzo first got politically engaged during the 2014 Ontario Provincial Election when he was 10 years old where he discovered the importance of politics and the voice it can give you. Over the years, he learned more about politics through school, visits to Parliament, and simply by following the news and the election campaigns that followed. Before creating VCalla Productions, Vincenzo was the founder of various youth political organizations, and was able to learn more about politics and engagement in everything that he did.

From 2021-2022, Vincenzo was a youth political panelist on SiriusXM Canada Talks, appearing 20 times on that network. In addition to that, he was welcomed by CBC Radio One Ottawa during the 2022 Ottawa Municipal Election to discuss his hit show “The Political Job Interview” that gained over 50,000 views over the span of 60 interviews with candidates in that election. Vincenzo was also highlighted by the Barrhaven Independent Newspaper in 2021 for his involvement in his school and around the community.

Vincenzo has recieved numerous awards and recognitions for his dedication to his community over the years, including the Catholic Education Foundation of Ontario’s Catholic Student Award (2019), The Archbishop of Ottawa-Cornwall’s Award for Catholic Leadership (2022), Ontario Scholar (2022), alongside volunteer recognitions for service at his local elementary school and his church.

In addition to his own work, Vincenzo has served as an assistant to former Nepean MPP Lisa MacLeod and has worked on various campaigns around Barrhaven and Nepean. Through this work, Vincenzo has had the opportunity to meet and work with the people who keep this community moving, from various community organizations, to the vibrant cultural communities that call Barrhaven home.

Vincenzo currently lives in Barrhaven, a community in Nepean, Ontario, and is in his second year of studies in the Joint Honours in History and Political Science program at the University of Ottawa. He aspires to become an elementary school teacher when he completes his studies. In his free time, Vincenzo enjoys reading, writing, learning, and volunteering whenever he can.
